Don Coryell came to St. Louis in 1973 and led the Cards to consecutive NFC East titles in ‘74-75, their first playoff appearances since 1948. He won 42 games in five seasons in St. Louis and was the first coach to win 100 games in both college (San Diego State) and the NFL (Cards and Chargers). He is a member of College Football Hall of Fame and has been a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame several times. Coryell passed away in 2010.
