Carl Allen played for the Cards from 1977-1982 and finished his career with 16 interceptions including a 70 yard pick-6 against the Eagles in 1980. Allen was an 11th round draft choice of the Cincinnati Bengals in 1977 and played college ball at Southern Mississippi. Carl remained in the St. Louis area after retirement and was a long time coach at Jennings High School. He passed away on March 31, 2021.
