The 16th annual Jim Hart Celebrity Golf Classic was held at the beautiful Legends Golf Club in Eureka on Monday, June 26. The tournament benefits Sunnyhill, Inc., a non-profit organization committed to creating the best quality of life for both children and adults with learning disabilities.
Many former St. Louis Football Cardinals came out including Jim Hart, Johnny Roland, Mel Gray, and Jim Otis. Former Big Red tight end Jerry Holloway also hosted his former teammates the day before at Melvin Brewing in Eureka.
In partnership with community and natural supports, Sunnyhill empowers individuals with disabilities to become productive citizens and achieve their individual dreams. Sunnyhill provides services for more than 700 clients each year through residential services, educational programs and behavior analysis as well as high-adventure recreational opportunities at their 65-acre camp in Dittmer. Their goal is to seek independence, empowerment and a life to the fullest for people of all abilities. We strive to treat everyone as an individual.
